The main reason we started to garden was to make our own salsa. Good salsa is not easy to find, and when you can eat a jar alone in one sitting you quickly realize the solution is to grow your own! Peppers don't seem to sell well, but we'll have a few varieties available for those that like to feel the burn! All peppers do better in containers and you can even overwinter them inside near a sunny window.
